Our consultants have been working with small and large non-profits for two decades, serving such organizations as Wesleyan University, the University of Colorado, The J. Paul Getty Trust, The George C. Marshall International Center, Northern Virginia Community Foundation, Jewish Family Services, and the Catholic Business Network of Nothern Virginia. 

Who We Are

Living Art founder Kirsten Dueck has created an innovative network of non-profit executives, development officers, management consultants, event planners and auctioneers, allowing you to outsource executive functions you need to fulfill your organization's mission.

When she was recruited to head Sotheby’s Latin American Department at the age of 30, Kirsten Dueck became the company’s youngest serving Department Director in North America and one of only a handful of women worldwide to head a paintings department at an international auction house. 

In 2004 she established Living Art Consulting, building upon her work in non-profit and arts management at organizations such as the J. Paul Getty Trust and the University of Colorado, and as Executive Director of the George C. Marshall International Center.  Throughout her career Kirsten Dueck has continued to write, teach, and advise  institutional and private clients.  

Kirsten Dueck’s work has been featured by the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, BBC, Financial Times, NPR’s Morning Edition, Art & Auction, and Reuters.  She serves on the Boards of Directors of the Catholic Business Network of Northern Virginia and Dulles Rotary, and on the Board of Advisors to the Northern Virginia Community Foundation.
